About Screenscope

Hey guys, it’s the Screenscope founder, your CEO, Africa’s tallest woman.
Screenscope is a bi-monthly exploration into film and TV that talks about the topics that I have been obsessed with for over a decade. It looks into a range of screen themes and even goes beyond the screen to see how what we watch influences our lives. The thoughts are all rooted in a place of love and curiosity that hopefully, you can relate to.
I struggled to relate to other blogs, even though I was a fellow cinema and series enthusiast. I wanted a platform void of pretentiousness, something engaging and new that really into the power of the screen instead of just sharing opinions.
I love looking at screen content with a wider lens and how the screen has evolved through various genres and generations. So, after some serious prayer and nudging, I have taken matters into my own hands.
A film and TV lover like me enjoys a visual aid, and since Screenscope is for the watchers as well as the readers, there are also quick videos to go with each blog.
This blog is my unexpected firstborn. I never expected to write it, but after getting a conviction from God that this is what I should do, it’s happening – and you’re all coming with me.
Engage with the socials (@screenscopeblog) to see all that I get up to and subscribe to the newsletter below to do the monthly quiz and to keep up with everything Screenscope.
Enjoy,
Tunrayo
